Our latest issue of the Peetoom Paper Spring Summer ’18 Edition is out now and every salon has their own two customized pages this edition. In this paper every salon shared their secret escapes in their own city with you all. Let’s find out where to find these secret escapes.
Karin’s secret escapes – Creative Director Rob Peetoom Bijenkorf Amsterdam
One of Karin’s secret escapes is Eye Amsterdam. In the museum for film in the Amsterdam-Noord area, you also find a bar- restaurant with the most stunning view of the city and the IJ harbour. ‘I can’t wait to land on the sunny terrace again this summer for a cup of coffee, lunch or delicious dinner’, says Karin.

Alkmaar’s secret escapes
Team Alkmaar’s favorite secret escapes is IJkgebouw Alkmaar.This cozy restaurant with a rich history can be found just outside the city center. The international menu guarantees excellent food and besides dinner the IJkgebouw offers a delicious lunch. A guest chef regularly accompanies the staff, so they keep surprising in culinary ways.

Eindhoven’s secret escapes
We also asked team Eindhoven to share their favorite secret escapes with us. One of their favorites is The Happiness Café/Kitchen. Your favorite acai bowl, yoghurt with homemade granola, avocado on toast: The Happiness Café with the most delicious and healthy vegan dishes in town.

Elandsgracht’s secret escapes
One of Elandsgracht’s favorite secret escapes is Baskèts. This is the very best street-fashion concept of Amsterdam. Baskèts is the place to be for exclusive sneakers and apparel collections by the coolest urban brands.

Haarlem’s secret escapes
Team Haarlem also shared their secret escapes in town with us. One of their favorites is Table 24. A modern restaurant with a great shared dining menu and a big terrace. Perfect to spend warm evenings and enjoy the international food.

Heemstede’s secret escapes

For some special secret escapes, you need to visit the city of Heemstede. Our team in Heemstede shared their favorite secret escapes with us. One of them is My Deer’s, founded by Dutch artist, designer and entrepreneur Maaike Koster. Her extreme passion is expressed in her inspiring interior concepts and cool wall-art.

Hoorn’s secret escapes
According to team Hoorn Loft der Zotheid is their favourite for lunch, dinner and drinks. A surprising fun place with something for everyone on the delicious menu. So after of before you visit our salon, go and check it out!

Santpoort’s secret escapes
Do you love beachclubs in the summer time? Then is Republiekthe place to be according to team Santpoort. Nothing beats the terrace of beach club Republiek in the summer time. A famous spot and we’ll be there again this year, from the first coffee in the morning till the last dance in the evening.

Utrecht’s secret escapes
The newest place to be, according to team Utrecht, is The Streetfood Club. Brand new and already a big favorite. This restaurant is the right mix of joy, luxury and delicious street food. From the comfortable crazy chairs to the old school hip hop blasting from the speakers: this spot is a true experience and great asset for Utrecht.

Sam & Maikel’s secret escapes - Creative Directors Rob Peetoom The Hague and Rotterdam
